Hohrinji-(3/5)

Behind the three-story pagoda, there is Kohdoh (lecture hall) where many religious arts are displayed. The displayed arts were made in 7th century to 14th century.

The Yakushi-nyorai (Healing Buddha :left picture below) was made in the time of the foundation for the son of prince Shotoku.
Also, displayed is Shibi (right picture below) which is conceived as a decorative tile of the original Lecture Hall. As noted before, none of present structures are original, this is a remaining actual evidence which tells us a bit of the temple's history.
Both are designated Important Cultural Assets.
