Kondoh

Main Hall
The original main hall was destroyed by typhoon in 1645 and rebuilt in 1737. The main hall had housed the Healing Buddha and other Buddha statues. Today, these are displayed in the Lecture Hall.

Bell House
The bell house was repaired in early 18th century.

Myokendoh

Myoken Hall
The hall is dedicated to enshrine Myoken bodhisattva. Myoken means a man with handsome face and it is conceived as the North pole star in buddhism world. It is said the Myoken bodhisattva will guard whole of the country and dismiss disasters. The hall is the newest structure, rebuilt in 2002.


Archeological Research

Since 1950, archeological research has been done many times, by digging the ground of the present temple for finding ruins and, often, at outside of the temple.
