Pagoda:National Treasure(Height:23.9 meters)

The three-storied Pagoda of Hohkiji (pron.;hoh-kee-jee) temple was registered as part of World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in December 1993 as well as Horyuji temple.
The Pagoda has long history of 1,300 years. ( The foundation of the temple was in 638 and the Pagoda in 706.) In these 1,300 years, there might have been various disasters, natural disasters such as violent storms and man-made disasters such as wars.
The Pagoda has had never suffered any disaster until today and the surviving Pagoda, though repaired several times, gives us atmosphere of ancient days.
